Good Friday working

I work nights in a DO we have been told Thursday/Friday (Good Friday) is a normal attendance but you get options of Money or day inlieu other years we could take the day off.Has any agreements been changed?

I would double check as in England/Wales at least, there are no deliveries on Good Friday. Did they mean the shift Friday into Saturday which would be a normal working day, but paid at a special BH rate for the hours on Good Friday.

I mean Thursday night Friday morning used to have a choice day off or work with options A or B. They now say it's a working day with A B options but not take good Friday off.

Yes - speak to the reps as soon as possible because they'll fight it. But yes as far as I can see that's your Good Friday shift so the rules for PH apply.

Local discussions/arrangements should ensure that agreed staffing arrangements are in place to meet these obligations in full, while balancing employee aspirations for time off on the Bank Holidays. To avail this discussions will consider the full range of resourcing options, including the realignment of conditioned hours across these weeks for night shift workers. Staff who attend within conditioned hours will receive the normal Bank Holiday premium for hours worked on the Bank Holidays. Staff attending out-with conditioned hours (on overtime) will receive normal Bank Holiday pay rates (options A or B as appropriate) for hours worked on the Bank Holiday.

IIRC (though not sure which way round) 1 is normal Overtime with Day off in Lieu later, the other is BH Rate Overtime with no Day in Lieu.
