days off

at my normal office my days off are on a fixed rota. mon thru to sat. I am currently at a different office due to medical reason.
new office are telling me that as I am on light /sick duties that my day off should be every Tuesday. is this correct or can I keep to my original day off rota from old office.

That's bollocks because Tuesday is the lightest day how the hell is working the busiest days of the week light duties

He / she means that they will be throwing in etc. not going out on delivery. Nothing physically strenous = light duty.

There may be other more experienced members with other info, but I have only ever known people who are temporarily loaned to other offices to keep their set rotation.

It's not easy to say for certain without knowing your specific circumstances, but it sounds like bullpoo to me.

Most offices operate long and shorts, so would you not be working a longer week presuming you're doing full hours ?

In our office if you are on light duties like you say , you get saturday off.

Yes this used to be the case in our office too. Would be interested to hear what the official line on this is now?
