Come on - it's part of the job to be crapped on from a great height by guvnors, abused by joe public, not allowed to take breaks, bullied into staying out late, bullied when off sick etc etc. But never mind. I've just read the lastest edition of Voice and everything will be fine - 35 hour week, better conditions, you name it we will get it. Don't know what planet these senior CWU people live on. They have lost touch and are useless, like a lot of reps

Yeah mate u have to accept it at Christmas, this is my 29th Christmas on the post I think thinks are getting worse though, it seems to be busy all year round though.

Apparently most M/Cs went "dead" on Wednesday night. Talking to my mate he said they were very busy on SDs and Tracked though.

Can't see this working for several reasons:

1 A lot of our part-timers work 9 til 2, although they are often bullied to work longer hours. Who would do the prep?

2 Who would be the SA afternoon collections?

So what would happen? You've guessed - full-timers being asked to come in early and stay late. Sound familiar?
