Anyone know what happened to their current account - I was seriously interested in switching over to them for my current account.

But yes, thats a good return 2.25%, in todays climate.

There are much better rates out there if you're willing to look. Nationwide are still offering 5% on £2500 for a yr and if you're willing to switch your current account with 2direct debits, to marks and Spencer bank account, they'll give you £220 for the yr on a card to use in store plus a linked regular saver at 5%.

When is this going be paid?

It has to be agreed by members at the AGM on 22nd Jan and is then normally put on the accounts the same or next day.

Commsave never did the current account.

Sure, there are some better rates. But most have more strings than the London Symphony Orchestra! Time limited offers and hassle to keep changing.
