First year pay rise

Are your first year incremental pay rises done automatically. Or do you need to pester a DOM to do it ?

It's supposed to be automatic, but if it doesn't come automatically then pester your DOM they're supposed to deal with it if it doesn't go through automatically. They might refer you to HR who will in turn tell you to pester the DOM, but just explain to them that your DOM is useless and they'll sort it out for you. I had to go through that convoluted process myself....6 months after I was due the 1 year pay rise! It was a heavy payslip that week
