ATOS

Bust up in our office today. One postie who has SA collections in the afternoon will have an ATOS phone call during one of his SAs. Manager said go out on collection, stop and take call which will last no more than 10 mins and then make up the time (impossible on our new collection routes). Think the postie wanted some indoor docket so he could wait for the call and take it at the DO. I've had an ATOS call a few years ago and I think it took about 30 minutes. Just out of interest what are the rules?

Imagine you have cancer and your out on collection and are working to a schedule because you have child care issues and need to finish on time ,then for talking sake ATOS call you while driving and want to chat, she speaks to you in pigeon english because she is from Guyana living in london .you have pages of detailed complex medical notes in the house but not with you cause your at work .Poor postie is from Wales or the highlands and she can't understand a word he's saying ,Postie can't remember all his medicatsion .Report say fit for work. Indoor docket ???? f**k off !! Oh i believe the rules say that a health care call should be at your own convenience .DOM wins again

atos decide when they call you so afaik there is no rules.

Well the Dom decides the questions and the time scale .When you receive your Atos letter It states that Royal Mail has arranged a telephone appointment for you within a given timescale .If you cannot attend your appointment please contact your Dom to discuss an alternative appointment .So like i said its up to you to get a appointment that suits you .If your Dom schedules your appointment when he knows that you are working he is just trying to make it as hard as possible for you to answer your case .If you want some examples of the the way that that they can ask questions just ask

have dealt with atos many times and they have always decided when and what time they will call.

Have been waiting for a call from them for about 4 months. Bit late now as I'm all healed up!

I missed a atos call once and manager wasn't pleased as he said it cost over a 100 pound
