it seems they are trying to cut back on these to save money. there's been none in our office for nearly a month. gaffer re-ordered some on the 4th oct. we still don't have them. he even got in touch with some nearby offices to see if they could give us some, but they are all in the same boat. people are picking them up off the floor, dregs out of trays, looking in bins etc. we got a bag of used ones from the nearby mail centre but they are crap. talk about essential tools for the job!!....they are really scrimping, and scraping the barrel now. anybody else had this?

I order some on a regular basis and currently have 9 boxes of small bands and 5 boxes of large bands.

your Dom or DSM is blocking you from getting any bands as it comes out of the office budget and therefore their bonuses.

Yes ... plus they even try to "ration" P739s in a vain attempt to make us to Deliver to Neighbour (although we know the real reason is that our local rural PO could close at any time - 'tis up to Mrs Miggins (!) so they don't want to do another print run with that address on the front) ...

I got told today we can't have any more elastic bands as everyone is hoarding them even though everyone is scrabbling about pinching what's left off each other

We've not had any bands in our office for about 3 months now. It's a big joke!

Im having to keep using the same bands I put in my bag and all they do is snap.
