Holidays

Can someone confirm the actual proper entitlement of annual holidays for part timers?

I am on 24 hour contract per week

Government website says am entitled to 134 hours 24 minutes paid holiday - so just under 24 days

at work am being given 19 (18 given plus 1 paid bank holiday)

which is right??

how many days a week do you work?

my guess is 4 x 6 hour days.

therefore you get 4 1/2 weeks a year, just like everyone else does.

5 day a week contract gets 22.5 days a year

4 days a week gets 18.5 days a year

3 days a year gets 13.5 days a year

so if you are on a 4 day contract, your holiday entitlement is correct.

Yeah my holidays are paid at 4 days per week

Being a relatively new starter the holidays I had booked where honored I have about 8 days to still put in all thats left is a week in February? A week in February I kid you not! Any help appreciated.

It is what it is I'm afraid. Come September you'll get your sheets out for the 2018/19 allocation. Hopefully you'll get something better then.

We already have been given our holiday sheet for 2019 !

you are entitled to more than 1 bank holiday,

once again this proa-rata if you work less than a 'regular' 5 day week (8 days for 5 day weekers), don't be fobbed off by management

it does n't matter if your regular day off is every Monday, that is irrelevant.
