Hi, I've a question regarding relief/agency work.
Do postal workers covering holidays, sickness etc. just cover one or local areas or can they be asked to cover areas further away/in other counties?

Depends on their contracts.
You get office reserves who cover sickness and absence in their office, and you get a few Cluster Reserves who cover a geographical area of offices.
However, ALL posties have it in their contract that they may be required to work in other offices.
Casuals - go where they are needed, as there is no contract between them and RM, just between their employer and RM, they can be sent anywhere.
