Annual leave in November

Hi, I have 5 days annual leave left and wanted to take in November but have been told by my line manager ALL LEAVE IS CANCELLED IN NOVEMBER DUE TO CHRISTMAS PRESSURE,surly there are exceptions to this rule

I've got the last week in November (booked it in August) told two weeks ago re November A/L changes but me & another were told as it was booked we were exceptions & able to take it.

I have 2 weeks off in November it is rubbish, Xmas pressure is in December. But saying that we crossed out 2 weeks in the last week of November so no one could take them.

The leave ceilings might be lower in November leading to all weeks in November already being fully booked

Can't have November, Can't have December, impossible to get the School holidays off in the six weeks summer, so then we should be getting double Xmas bonus as they say "If you take time off in December you lose the bonus" is that the same scenario in November?

Maybe so but op said he was told no leave in november due to christmas pressure absolute bollocks from managers as usual.

Heap little chief talking crap, you only lose the bonus if your pay is affected by absence. So it isn't affected when on sick, unless you are on 1/2 pay or less, or when you are on annual leave etc.

They tried blacking out the last 2 weeks of Nov in our office. New rep jumped straight on it and hey presto, all of Nov is now available.
