Just for info ... my Mum posted a postcard in Buxton (2nd class stamp) to an address in Stafford ... 4 weeks on no sign. She asked me for advice; she couldn't e-mail so I gave her the JustSayIt Freepost address (Victoria Embankment etc etc). She got a letter back asking for more details (i.e. address it was going to) so she replied with all info required.

Got a letter back with all the usual "crap" (93% will get delivered within three days etc etc) ... BUT ...

She also got a cheque for £10 :shock:

So advice is ... don't complain to your local DO - head for the top and get a result !!
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

Well done for your Mum, but it won't be the fat cat shareholders paying for this (note I say the 'fat cat' shareholders),
it'll be someone's Lino arguing the toss about an extra hours O/T or it going missing off the O/T sheet or one of the other
tactics managers employ to grind down colleagues to save a few pence.
