does taking unpaid leave affect my seniority?
I've been granted 2 weeks unpaid paternity leave. Will this be knocked off my seniority if we have a re-pick in the future?

Thanks for the reply. I should add, the 2 weeks unpaid leave is in addition to my 2 weeks statutory paternity leave, does this make a difference to my seniority?

The unpaid portion is also Statutory as far as I am aware, although your 2 weeks unpaid comes from the Parental Leave entitlement.

I think I've just found my answer in the way forward agreement, it states that unpaid leave counts towards seniority provided there is no break in contract. So....does anyone know if the way forward agreement is still the agreement used to determine how to establish seniority?
