If you don,t have a rep take in a friend(thats if you have any, being the only one on strike) or ask for a rep from a local office to come along, failing that tell him you will contact your Area rep to come along, but if you can keep a diary of all the hassle he is causing you, has caused then you can nail him for harassment. Hope that helps but if customer is happy with a sorry then that should be it... WORTH WATCHING HIM IN FUTURE...

Follow procedure
I don't really think a sorry is enough - if procedures had been followed then this wouldn't have happened. When are we going to learn to start working to procedure so the packet would have been 39'd and returned to the office and its up to customer what to do next - no breach of procedure, no prospect of disciplianary action and no claim for the cost of the broken blinds - follow procedure - it really is that simple.

Re: Follow procedure
as long as he follows procedures as well then and treats me the same as others in the officemailjock wrote:I don't really think a sorry is enough - if procedures had been followed then this wouldn't have happened. We had a very similiar thing happen in our office,i can't go into too much
detail, but an item of customers property was damaged and was replaced
at cost to us through first line fix money, the person received an apology
from both the postperson and delivery manager, and that was the end of the
matter!

Your right it would be. IMO dismissal should be the last resort and worst I would have expected if you have a clean record is a 2 year serious warning. However, the point of RM seeming to want to get rid of people has to be taken into account.rocketman wrote:got the day of thing sorted cheers working this friday any way
i have the branch offical going in with me
never been off sick and never been late or done anything wrong in 2 years
sacking seems a bit harsh
Have you decided what to do if they do sack you. Will you go unfair dismissal etc.
I wish you the best of luck and I am sure you will have the support in spirit of RMC.
