i thought an apology would be enough too , you dont think it has anything to do with the fact i was the only one on strike at my office! hes seems hellbent on shafting me and doing the worst he can to me! no rep at my office btw

If you don,t have a rep take in a friend(thats if you have any, being the only one on strike) or ask for a rep from a local office to come along, failing that tell him you will contact your Area rep to come along, but if you can keep a diary of all the hassle he is causing you, has caused then you can nail him for harassment. Hope that helps but if customer is happy with a sorry then that should be it... WORTH WATCHING HIM IN FUTURE... :cuppa

Follow procedure

Post by mailjock »

I don't really think a sorry is enough - if procedures had been followed then this wouldn't have happened. When are we going to learn to start working to procedure so the packet would have been 39'd and returned to the office and its up to customer what to do next - no breach of procedure, no prospect of disciplianary action and no claim for the cost of the broken blinds - follow procedure - it really is that simple.

We had a very similiar thing happen in our office,i can't go into too much
detail, but an item of customers property was damaged and was replaced
at cost to us through first line fix money, the person received an apology
from both the postperson and delivery manager, and that was the end of the
matter!

inform him that discimination comes in many shapes and you feel you`r being singled out.. then notify your area rep..

Your right it would be. IMO dismissal should be the last resort and worst I would have expected if you have a clean record is a 2 year serious warning. However, the point of RM seeming to want to get rid of people has to be taken into account.

Have you decided what to do if they do sack you. Will you go unfair dismissal etc.

I wish you the best of luck and I am sure you will have the support in spirit of RMC.
