25 hours part contract holiday allowance

Hi

As above trying to find out my holiday allowance on a 25 hour contact started in 2nd week of August,gave them my 15 days of prebooked holidays which is being honoured but want to know if i have any more days.

Direct.gov.uk holiday entitlement calculator says 90 hours 31 mins which is 18 days but it doesn't include bank holidays of which there will be 4 since i started.

My manager is saying i have 14 days....is he right?

Your weekly hours are irrelevant.

Just done quick calculation and it appears the manager is right.

However, for clarification you can ring HR, number on reverse of pay slip.

RM does not include BH as part of your entitlement, as we take them when they are.
That is to say, you will have 14 plus 4 BH, but your entitlement will only show as 14.

I work 9.30-14.30 6 days with one rest day which are my contacted hours but of course most weeks i have been working 40 on average with overtime as I'm wanted in on early starts to prep.

Roughly, you will be working at RM for ~7.5 months of the current 2016-17 holiday year, that finishes late March.

7.5/12= 0.625

Basic holiday allowance is 22.5 days per year plus bank hols at RM

22.5x0.625= 14.0625 days holiday for this year
