Sat/Mon Off For a holiday

My friends want to book a holiday this weekend for a stag do next april for a friday to monday weekend but it means me needing a saturday/monday off. Ive looked and my day off that week is a friday but the monday would fall on the first day of the kids 2weeks off for easter and i know these are quite often popular choices. From peoples experiences what are chances of them saying yes to this cause holiday doesn't get dealt with until October/confirmed November in our office. Thanks

if you dont have this week booked then you will not likely get the day off

This far in advance, getting a weekend off next year should not be a problem in the real world, in RM world though it is likely to be a major issue, hence RM has a problem with sick leave. Wouldn't condone it, never done it but if you need a day off and you can't get it, I am sure people do it.

Suppose worst case scenario i have saturday off the following week and with it been good friday id have another 4day weekend off so worst case i suppose getting some one to swap there monday for my saturday wouldn't be an issue but getting the previous saturday is another matter
