This is the bit you hit them with....
And of course....Following full implementation, when all employees and managers are fully aware of the required performance standards, it is accepted by both parties that the use of the formal one-minute checks to evaluate a fully-trained individual’s performance, would not be appropriate. The only exception to this might be when an individual’s capability to meet the standard is brought into question due to the length of time they may have been away from the task they are due to perform e. g. the individual has been performing other duties for a year and the use of a one-minute check may indicate to the manager that they may require support or refresher training.it was counterproductive and contrary to the aims of the initiative to use individual performance standards or one minute spot checks as a disciplinary tool.

totally agree , but we have told that we work at a good pace in a safe and efficient manner , the problem in our office is that you have idiots starting an hour before there time , running round with bags , not having m/r just to do the extra work for them , and we wont and we leave the extra in because 9/10 we go over on our own but to be honest we wont change the way we work and if it carrys on we will bring our own back , and the clowns can take us down whatever road they want . could do with xmas off , lolcentenaryman wrote:heyyy mate not an attack on you,,,,,but were not allowed out till all mail is in the fittings,,,sooo in theory no more missorts left in the office,,,,doesn't work LOL but they try....so if you were in our office and still got tied up before everybody else you still wouldn't be allowed out,,,,weve had several lads have walk tests,,,,and you wouldn't believe it butttt none of them failed,,,,,always the postmans fault,,,,,too slow knocking,,,too slow finding a parcel on your trolley...so on and so on
