No - part of the discussion over 1 wave and 6 hour delivery spans is the Union will be asking Royal Mail for a 35 hour week for FTimer with no loss of pay.

Then they will basically become full time with the increase in hourly rate.

So instead of a pay rise for 2017-2019 we'll get a 3 year deal where we drop to 35 hours per week but with a pay rise to cancel it out.
So in 'Real Terms' there will be no pay rise for 3 years but the hourly rate will be equivalent to 11.4% over 3 years?
And we'll still have exactly the same job to do, just less time.

Don't know about DOs but in MCs I can't see 35hr weeks working, a lot of the time it goes to the wire in MCs during the summer time, let alone during the autumn. RM will probably have to put more duties into MCs. The only way I can see us getting a 35hr week is if meal breaks become unpaid
