When do the protection's end that was agreed in 2013?
Given that we have agreed our pay deal and received our back pay there is one thing bothering me why did we not get RM to extend the protection's of the former agreement and why? With the looming pensions issues and not forgetting the closure and merging of offices and introductions of new equipment in the front line. Why do we not have a more far reaching agreement as office's are being torn apart by the bastard management who's only aim is to enhance their pension's at the expense of our membership!

There is no end date on the Legal Guarantees the first review is in 2018.
In terms of the pension changes the pension agreement ends in 2018 and the battle is what happens after 2018.
In terms of the other changes one wave , merging offices etc that is Royal Mail's strategy which they have wanted for some time but the union has not agreed anything.

We get this in our office the old we'll all have to reapply for our jobs nonsense.as I understand the law a company cannot reduce our pay unless we agree and why would we for a company that's making millions off our backs
