How much do line managers and dom's earn?
Just interested that's all.

whatever there paid its to much as I wouldn't pay them in washers and most are a waste of money and space and wouldn't get a job anywhere else , that's where Moya wants to looking to save money and get rid , and not the posties who work hard for there wages , I'm sorry if ive gone off your original question but that's just me.

It is not their rate of pay that concerns me, it is their bonus structure and how they "earn" that. A true audit of most offices would reveal some very creative figures.

In most offices they're probably doing postman's work more then they're doing managers work

Line Managers earn an extra £70 a week more than us full-timers. Bonus potential is advertised as 10% plus - probably subject to additional lapsing, improved efficiency etc etc.

DOMs pay is certainly more substantial. I would say between £30-35k. Oh…. and their bonuses on top of this are much bigger than the line managers. The only downside to being a DOM is that they can be sent to another delivery office at the drop of a hat.

But what is very interesting to note is that none of the management team are part-time!!

I believe in theory any permanent manager can be sent to any RM office anywhere in the UK

In my old office there was 20 duties and 1 DOM, who had to do everything including sorting, prepping, delivering and covering breaks for the locker staff.

I've just moved to a new office where there are 50 duties and between 3 and 4 managers a day present, they never have any opg duties to do, not even helping out in the locker, there's even an additional employee who deals solely with wages and overtime a bit like an old fashioned wages clerk... I honestly haven't got a clue what these managers do to fill their time other than implement the conduct code to any postie for every minor mistake and failure to follow procedure.
