What to wear before getting a uniform

What do you buy for the job before you get your uniform?

A black pair of shorts. A red unbranded polo tshirt, a red waterproof cagoule. A pair of comfortable trainers. Nobody will literally tell any difference.

I just started and wear denim shorts, t shirt and black sketchers.... You will get a hi vis to go on top anyway...

I wouldn't buy anything special, jeans, combats, t shirt will be fine til u get your uniform oh and comfortable trainers. There should be some spare waterproofs about for you to use.

You'll want to be wearing something comfortable, and practical.

Such as combat trousers / shorts with lots of pockets to keep your pda / shut notice cards / pens etc. Ideally something which is quick drying.

Comfy trainers that are well broken in.

As above, shorts or combat trousers are a must. When i started i turned up in jeans for the first week or two, big mistake.
