Hi,
I have been asked to find out about a Language allowance. I am a sub rep and our normal rep is on leave for 3 weeks so I am stepping up.
I have never heard of this but one of my members as he has just been told about it by someone from another office. He speaks Welsh and has to use this to translate addresses and sometimes gets called into callers office to speak to customers etc he wants to know if he is entitled to this or not. I have had a quick look and have found it on the pay rate guide for Cwu represented grades.
