New PDA's

We have just started using the new PDA's at our DO, I think they work really well. Has anyone found that if he screen is wet the customer can't sign it at all? What do you guys think of the new PDA's

They struggle with 2d bar codes and are erratic with logging on . If there is too much tilt when you get a signature the screen locks.

dont have them yet but knowing RM they are probably 10 years out of date

We have had them for 2 months, they are great, 2d barcodes need to be straight and try to log on first thing in morning if you can, there for shouldn't have issues during The day

Oddly enough, DPD man was talking to my wife the other day and he reckoned we are ahead of the game for once. Most unusual.

Had them for 2 weeks now, no training at all but very easy to figure out, and our manager didn't even know we had them until yesterday

Terrible things, they're too complicated and long winded for delivery, they have too many features when all you need on delivery is a delivered or not delivered option. Screen freezes, items don't send for days at a time, strap broken already. Useless.

Brilliant, step in the right direction for once.

Easy to use, quick to scan standard and 2d codes.

Really dont like them, always freezing up on me and wont do anything. Stood there with customer waiting to sign for ages and it wont do anything :-(

Navigation randomly turning on and shouting at me "NOW, turn left NOW" pmsl

Used it in serious rain for the first time today, screen kept responding to raindrops and doing unwanted things, just when I was trying to scan and get signatures.
Also, some older folk seem to have trouble signing without touching the screen somewhere with another part of their hand, which results in the nothing happening when the stylus touches the screen, and having to ask them to sign again, and again!
Apart from that, much better than old ones.
