PDA network issues

Today our DOM was pulling his hair out as our whole office couldn't scan anything on our PDA's
if we did it just froze. everyone was writing down numbers
Anyone else have this problem and its not the 1st time

Had issues yesterday but resolved itself after an hour.

No problems scanning but big problems connecting to the network. Had 37 items left on my pda when I got back to the office and got told most people who had returned had the same problem. Only started using the new ones in our office last week after it had been put back about a month because of network issues.

The PDA's run Android 4.4 which is 2 (soon to be 3 ) versions behind the current software, highly unlikely they will ever be updated as it will require to much tweaking of the custom installed software.

I had problems with the PDA yesterday, the PDA was holding scanned items. We have been told not to log off the PDA at the end of the day if it's still holding jobs. Apparently if the user logs off, the scanned packet data is wiped which means tracked items etc come up on the system as failures. This morning DOM asked me about a box collection had appeared on system as a failure. I told him I'd scanned it. Nothing more was said.

No problems today.

Looks like Royal Mail were promised the moon by EE but on arrival found there was no cheese ??? I hope there's a compensation package built into this multi-million deal... cause as a shareholder (and OPG) I ain't f****** happy
