CALLERS OFFICE RE-PICK

Post by superteamu10 »

We are currently going through a revision and the question being asked is whether the callers office duties and A Task duty should be up for a re-pick. I presumed that unless the duty holder wanted to come off that duty, that they were protected. I have know been told that those duties can go up. I can't download the 2010 way forward for some reason, so does anybody know if it mentions it in there?

The one that records changes to addresses and the duties. New ones, demolitions, conversions etc.

CALLERS OFFICE RE-PICK

Post by doorstepped »

APlus Champion.

I work in the Locker ( just picked it up officially on a repick ( was doing it for 9 month's previously as the old one took VR ) I am also entrusted with APlus, RCS input's, DODR reports, DDR reports and soon to have the PSP input of OT added to my list.

there was another person who wanted the locker job, but he had zero training in any aspect of the job so was refused even an interview for the job.

The Locker can as far as I know be fenced off for people who can do the job and have the required training.

Duties like RLE lockers, callers offices, A+, A Task are more then likely classed as specialist duties

The callers office is a specialist duty which is picked on relevant skills. in the event of two people having equal skills the most senior one gets it. This is not in the BT2010 it is in the 'Way Forward Agreement' of 1999. Just for more info the 'locker' or RLE is not included in the list of specialist duties

In some DOs I believe the locker and callers are one combined duty
