Cut backs on Rubber Bands

We have been told offices are now cutting back on the taking of rubber bands. since the 9 years I have worked at RM we always went over to a box helped yourself am afraid that's not the case anymore. we have to go to the office get them from a manager or bring yesterdays bands back or look in vans, bags etc, I have heard of cuts but this is stooping really low now...Just hoping they don't do cuts on the toilet roll next or we will be doomed all together especially Monday mornings.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest! I heard our manager have a whinge about the amount of bands our office uses!

I wouldn't mind re-using them if they could be used more than once! TBH you're lucky to even get one use out of them

I wouldn't worry ,as with all stupid ideas in this company ,it lasts about a week,before resorting to how it was before. Probably a world class mail idea. Talking of which,is it still alive?

What are they going to come up with next. Using too much fuel, elastic bands, bog roll, hand towels ,pens, shoes but never too much energy. They think it's all over..................it is now.

The rubber bands are useless anyway - most of them snap after a couple of uses

This has been going on in our office for a couple of months. There like gold dust might go to costco and sell them in the office and make a killing

Bloke in our office had to ring his mate from trap 1 to fetch more toilet paper as the toilet roll dispenser got clogged up no more would come out

just get all thrown in and tell them you cant bundle up until your provided with the equipment to do your job

'bring yesterday's bands back'? Isn't that what everyone does anyway, until they snap after a week or so that is.
