His remarks at the Kentish Town love in of union leaders and Corbyn disciples were a disgrace. Telling 172 labour MPs to join the Tory party are typical of a union that now spends more time on political issues than industrial concerns. Those 172 MPs are realists, they don't disagree with all of Corbyns policies just that as leader he does not present credible leadership in opposition. He can't change anything if he, and his cabal, don't realise that Labour will never be elected with him in charge. Anyone not a 'comrade' in the Labour Party, or in our union, is now, it seems, a traitor.
Funny how the right hate Tony Blair for winning 3 elections, just as much as the extreme left do. They can't accept his success and the hate and bile thrown at anyone for even to suggest that his policies appealed to the electorate is an unedifying sight. Anyone who dares criticise Corbyn are now "Blairite scum". Anyone can stand in a room full of adoring converts and eff and blind at those who disagree with their views. Corbyn, McDonnell, Milne and the rest are out of touch with the rest of the country, just as Militant were in the 8os so Momentum are now. Strange how the three top jobs in the shadow cabinet are held by the MPs for 3 neighbouring north London constituencies, but no doubt I'm just a Blairite scumbag who doesn't deserve to be a member of the party I've supported since I was 15.

Sounds about right to me. Where's the problem ?stephen5708 wrote: Telling 172 labour MPs to join the Tory party
People (the Labour PLP) who believe in selling the public a sanitised and more "caring" version of capitalism aren't "realists". They are sellouts. They aren't doing it to gain power and electoral success. They are doing it because they believe in it. They are not offering an alternative to those fortunate enough to be working nor that vast UK populous unable to find work and reliant on benefits (as are those in work quite often also).
Or do you still think that once they get into power they'll change their tune and start doing the right thing ? Been there, done that - you'll be waiting a long time.
And you are wrong about the right wing hating Blair for his electoral success - big business, Murdoch, the establishment elite, they all loved Blair. He was one of their own. Just like they'd take one of his acolytes in the current PLP all day long over a Jeremy Corbyn.

Dave Ward speaking here.
No f,ing and blinding as far as I can tell. Polite and well thought out if you ask me.
Could not agree with the man more. First time I've seen or heard the man put forth his beliefs - and I must say that I am glad (and proud) to be a part of the union movement and the CWU - and am impressed with Dave Ward.

i want a Labour Government and that requires leadership something Jeremy clearly lacks,i believe Owen Smith will be a far better leader and will hold the Tories to account.
Dave's twitter account is a disgrace and sycophantic to Corbyn.

Theresa May has made some good noises about being in favour of the family working hard to make ends meet. She sounds great. Why don't we vote for her ? Oh no - wait - we can't do that cos she's the tory PM and we are working people. Tell you what then - David Cameron knows how to win an election, couldn't we get him on board ? He's at a loose end at the minute as well - seems like a golden opportunity to me - snap him up. At least then we would actually stand some chance of gaining power - after all, you can't change anything unless you are in power. Principles are so 19th century - Corbyn just wears jerseys - nice bloke and all that - but dreams aint gonna pay the bills are they ? When I was a child we ate crusts that were discarded by our masters bullmastiffs - and we were glad of them. What the bloody hell are you lot whinging about ?
