Hi, just a quick question to any union reps or higher regarding the payment of election and/or referendum leaflets.
We have always been told that the payments were agreed at a local level and therefore some offices got a much better deal than others.
I've seen posts on here and by myself moaning about how some offices get 6p per leaflet whilst others may only get 3p.
Would it be possible for our office to get together and agree a new payment that we all agree on and get our union rep to
discuss it with our Dom. We don't care if they push it through as D2D's instead of paying us as that means lapsing would be a No
as well as the chance of cut offs if they try any 1 day or 3 day delivery for them.
It has been that price for well over a decade and even then it wasn't particularly worth it but now it is a pittance and should be re-agreed
or just cancelled.

Election and/or referendum payments
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.
