Hi Folks If your pay is dropped to statutory sick pay,do the company have to inform you in advance of it's intention? Is there a legal requirement to do so? I can't find any mention in the Attendance Procedure or the Sick Pay Policy of this

From memory, I received a letter informing me it was going to happen a few weeks before it did.
I 'think' it was from HR and not my manager.
If you receive tax credits/housing/council tax benefits ect you can inform them and they will reaccess your claim.
