Way Forward and EU time directive.

Where do we stand now with 1998 EU Time Directive rules and regulations where so many restrictions were set upon Royal Mail staff that they must have so many hours break and one can not work more than so many hours etc. ??? In my old time 7 days work was normal, earned good money, bought house and paid off all the mortgage with in few years.

Right now absolutely nothing changes.

Article 50 has to be activated first. (Although the referendum isn't legally binding, however, it would be a very foolish politician to decide to ignore the will of the people on this one)
This will probably be done by Cameron next week, but it could be done by his replacement.

At the activation point, there is a two-year clock for the terms of our "release" to be discussed by the remaining 27 members (a little like a prisoner getting parole) who will still have the power of VETO but the UK won't.

Of course there is the possibility that Article 50 may not be activated for a number of years. The government may foresee the need for extensive negotiation before the two year clock starts and its left to the remaining 27 members to decide our fate.

There were suggestions by Tories in the leave camp that we shouldn't set article 50 in motion until after the French and German elections, late next year. I reckon they will go down like dominoes now. Apparently the EU has 5 presidents, why?

Nothing will happen. We will keep EU working time regulations otherwise the county will be seen as going backwards.

We are still in one:

Quangos, House of Lords, Regulatory Authorities etc . Agreed we will get rid of one level of unelected bureaucracy when we leave the EU, but it was a lot smaller than the one we still have.
