Annual leave cards

Does anybody know whether the 'old' annual leave cards have been replaced with some kind of record for the employee ? We used to get the old style cards but since changing to 9 day fortnights etc. and due to people working different hours per day, these were abolished and haven't been replaced in our unit for any kind of employee based record system. Hence this is causing issues with people not knowing what they have as it's based on hours and not days and weeks ?

The old Manpower Plan leave card system is no longer recognised by RM but lots of offices that I have dealt with still use a version of it or an alternative. RM wants units to use PSP for all employee information/records which in itself is fine if it were able to provide the info that staff need both individually and for teams to do their planning.
This means that offices have to either duplicate the work by updating the Manpower Plan & PSP or choose to one ot the other. Most offices chose to just use their local version so PSP wasn't updated and so RM did not have the info it needed re leave being taken.
Early this year RM had a project to make sure leave was on PSP and so it sounds like your office have chosen not to continue with the previous system.

PSP can provide you with info of amount of leave you are entitled to, amount taken, booked & left to book. It can also provide a list of the days taken, & booked as well.

The reports are called something like Annual Leave Quota Information and Absence Detail Report.

The Help section of PSP will show your Bookroom Staff or Line Manager how to print these reports off.

Thanks for that, at least now, I can try to get them to use this to put some sort of clarity to the postal staff, instead of the situation being as it is now.
