DISCREPANCIES IN DELIVERY SIZES

HI NEW ALL OF THIS, JUST WONDERED IF ANY OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUES??
UP TO 2 HOURS DIFFERERENCES IN DELIVERY SIZES AND TIMES AFTER THE REVISION??
SOME DOING A LOT LESS THAN OTHERS. WHAT ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE??

yep same in our office in some cases. my rural rounds got 348 calls spread out over 5 villages , can think of at least 3 other rural rounds got around 200 calls.

Same in our office and it's been like it since the last revision around 6 years ago. We have 50% of the office doing 75% of the work. The rounds were much fairer before the last revision as they had been allowed to evolve naturally over time. Any "wonder" machine or computer program that is used in the new revisions ultimately is doomed to fail as it just can't take in all the variables. Best bet would be to have experienced postmen working out the rounds but then RM managers won't trust them to do it and of course if they fail to cut walks they must be doing it wrong, at least according to management. Our latest revision has been on-going for over a year. They were just about to go to the next stage when they realised they hadn't factored in the new 2d scanning or allow any time for it. It's also been going on for so long that the new walks didn't take into account any growth which has happened in the long time it's taken to process the revision. So in order to make savings and cut rounds they've had 3+ planners working on it for over a year and now and still no revision. Wonder how much they cost in wages, doesn't seem like much of a saving so far does it!

Pants 123, if you are going over your finish time, booking it and not getting paid, then follow the cutting off procedure. People shouldn't be working for free.

Best advice is don't worry about other people and only you can make yourself work beyond your finishing time.
