ROYALMAIL DROWNING IN THE SEA OF COMMPETION

I fear with the like's of TNT DHL et al we are being swamped with mail the gaffer's can't see it but i do our section ie 30 walk's is choc a block 5 york's of packet's at close of today 1/4 of them by TNT DHL and other's we are stareing down the barrel of encompetant management this has to end soon all we will all be gone!.

Now its open market we are seeing more and more rivals but if 1/4 of it is the competitions then 3/4 (75%) is royal mails. Thats not bad really when you think of all the hype when the competition were allowed to compete. I for one have never fallen for the bull rm spout about rivals etc

I would suggest that most of that mail is just the usual autumn pressure made into a backlog by the strikes.

In the broader scheme of things, we have to get rid of the 'liberalised' market and stop the competition stealing work through Downstream Access. The immediate impact of the strikes will not have increased this, but we have been losing masses of work by attrition since the market was opened.

We have to get rid of Postcomm.

No offence but your telling me a private company useing a sevice provided by another company will not sue for loss of earning's/ contract's for no delivery of said packet's, postcomm just regulates, Commercial company's sue for lott's and lott's

That's the problem useing money that's better spent on the front line instead of the "competion" this is a discracefull act of deicit on royalmail's part, Lineing the pocket's of the competion?.
