Shorts!

Does anyone know of any decent 3/4 shorts? Can't be doing with the regular tripe!

Order more, show them to your boss, they can authorise more, tell them, until they can supply you with some uniform you will be wearing your own, they are bright pink inform him. You can only wear the correct uniform if it has been supplied.

Just wear normal ones and pop a pda in each pocket!

I buy dark blue 3/4 length shorts from BHS & due to their recent "problems", they are really cheap too (£9). I've found they are the best as they are reasonably thin so quick to dry out if you get rained on & also thin enough to be cool in the heat.

Just bare in mind, if you turn up in non issue clothing, they can send you home to get changed and your pay can be stopped, never known it happen to be honest, it has been threatened but they do have that right.
