Injured Outside of Work

Doctor has written note for me to do light duties for 4 weeks as struggling to walk from a football injury suffered last week.
Have to talk to the DOM about it tomorrow. Apparently not his problem?
Is it worth getting the rep to sit in on the conversation tomorrow and what can I do?

100% yes get a H&S rep if possible.

Also, it is his problem, he has a duty of care and if you are not fit enough to do the work and injure yourself further he will be in it so deep he'll need a straw to breathe through it.

Just beware rm not obliged in these circumstances to offer light duties, he can insist on full duty or go on sick and even though willing to do light duties you will incur absences towards stages etc

If it is anything like my depot, they have so many unfilled vacancies that they will be desperate for you to come in to prep a frame or two each morning, before getting you to prep the D2D un-nested in the lapsed duties.

We've had "Sick" Posties in the past doing just that. Quite funny really with some of them "Trying" to look sick and poorly as they sit there throwing off Households. As if I'm bothered about it....it's the DOMs problem.
