Remember the bbc reporters keeping on about the cwu being like dinasaures for going on strike!. what a difference a week makes. the words boot, foot, and other come to mind
I am seriously f****d off with the whole thing. I have tried to be positive for the duration but now enough is enough. What sort of union do we represent when we get exactly zero information from them? Tempers are frayed in our office and I am sure that it is all going to kick off at some point as nobody has the slightest clue as to what is going on.
The period of calm / silence ended weeks ago, we have lost a LOT in wages, and as a rep I keep having to tell my members 'sorry, we know f**k all'. I wouldn't be surprised if half the union membership walked because of this, in fact I am VERY close to quitting as sub rep myself due to the absolute lack of ANYTHING solid from the chaps at the top.
