OH Referral

Iv requested a O H Appointment from my dom but he seems to be taking his time actually doing it, iv had an injury from a RTA that happened couple of year back and im due an operation in the next few week's, been struggling lately preping etc and just want a bit of advice and a few thing set in place by OH to help me out if poss,

Now the dom has said he'll be putting this referal in but as a IHR case, even tho iv had no time off in over a year and a half with the injury. in the past when iv had referals iv had a text message on the day hes put it in stating time and date, this time he says because it an IHR case we have to wait for a date which could take a few days, Thing is all the other referals iv had he's mentioned IHR in his questions and they come same day,

is he taking the P and hasn't done this referal and waiting till nearer my op, just incase OH say for me to come off delivery and work in door, or has the referals changed and you do have to wait a few days for a date ???

Have OS assist given you a reasonable adjustment to your duty in the past ?

Yes, also took me off delievery and kept me on the sick,

Did they not give a reasonable adjustment that would enable you to keep you on your duty or have they given a reasonable adjustment that you can no longer achieve ,hence the IHR

If they have taken you off delivery and kept you on the the sick that is not a reasonable adjustment . First up you need a phased return to work agreed with OH and your GP as to what work you are capable of .This should be between your GP and OH and your DOM .IF after every avenue is explored and you can't do any type of work within reason then it's IHR

No sick in a year and a half but you are due an operation why is Dom putting you forward for ihr thought you had to be long term sick. and how does he know your operations is not going to be successful.

I hant delt with OH for over a year now, thats why im after a refferral. for advice but he';s dragging his heals

reasonable adjustments only need to be made if the injury/illness is classed as a disability under the equalities act

So back to my question. How long does it take for a oh referral to come back with time and date

Think you can refer yourself if Dom is being unhelpful contact your rep to see if he can push it on quicker for you.
