or ''non culpable inefficiency'' as it is known. the rep asked me to post this on here to ask if any senior reps on here know how the negotiations are going. he says they are currently trying to drop the time limits on this from 6-12 months down to 3. basically it is a way to get rid of people on performance if they are crap at their job and no improvement is made in the time they give for coaching/supervision/retraining etc.....another way to offload staff on the cheap as opposed to paying redundancies/ihr.

That's a worrying thing,as a lot of people can be judged at being "crap" at their job,I wonder if you use the correct methods such as trolley and therefore take 10 mins a loop longer you are judged to be crap as compared to the runner who cuts every corner,or if your prep is spot on compared to the "super prepper who use's the shotgun method of prep.

its for the ''indoor'' part of the job. there is no set standard for outdoor. too many variants.DB1100 wrote:That's a worrying thing,as a lot of people can be judged at being "crap" at their job,I wonder if you use the correct methods such as trolley and therefore take 10 mins a loop longer you are judged to be crap as compared to the runner who cuts every corner,or if your prep is spot on compared to the "super prepper who use's the shotgun method of prep.

Even so still wide open for abuse,in our DO the only people that get tested are those that come in strictly on time.daveyeff wrote:its for the ''indoor'' part of the job. there is no set standard for outdoor. too many variants.DB1100 wrote:That's a worrying thing,as a lot of people can be judged at being "crap" at their job,I wonder if you use the correct methods such as trolley and therefore take 10 mins a loop longer you are judged to be crap as compared to the runner who cuts every corner,or if your prep is spot on compared to the "super prepper who use's the shotgun method of prep.

Im fed up of this. In our office everyone is compared to the fastest member of staff. Totally unfair. Theres older guys who take 2 hours extra for their duty and dont claim o/t in case they get an NCI or whatever its called. Makes me sick that this is allowed to go on. We should be looking after each other and adapting duties accordingly to allow these guys a normal manageable day an be able to work up to retirement. Runners, early birds, non break takers, d2d home preppers should all be stopped. They are ruining a great job and making us normal good guys look incapable. Good rant. Had a busy day !
