Turned off when I saw him door stepping,disgusting behaviour! That's what's great about today he'd be taken down the conduct code and rightly so.Should of been a p739 job but he was obviously cutting corners to get done early.

I don't see that there was anywhere to safely leave the 739. I think the correct procedure would be to return the mail to the office, properly endorsed, and either a letter should be sent to the house owner (pointless in this case) or a manger should visit the property to evaluate safe alternatives.
He also appeared to be operating a collection on delivery service without a blue pouch. How did he manage to ensure it remained separate from the live mail he was delivering?

The narrator calls him 'Britain's most unusual postman'. He looks pretty normal to me. And anyway Britain's most unusual postman works in our office.

The mail boat is still in operation and though it's a different boat it's of a similar size. You can see it make a delivery here if you go to the 1:50 mark. Standards have dropped it seems as it doesn't seem that Royal Mail are employing a postman to do these deliveries anymore. Another cushy round bites the dust.

Imagine him on a heavy day just coming up to his last delivery point, the maid waving him on all excited to collect her letters, then he glances down at his watch and the boat slowly making a U-turn, "sorry love I've got to cut off, boss won't pay the overtime"
