24 hour contracts

Hi all, just wondering what the start time is for 24 contracts, in our office they have started some new staff at 8.30 when the full timers take there break, so if they dont know the walks and the frames are not in order to walk they can't do anything till breaks over, and 6 hr days mean thst they finish at 2.30 when full timers finish at 2..50, where do these managers get there ideas from? and if they start them at 8.50 the walks wont be ready due to pkts needing to be finished of and redirection doing , should be 24hrs over 3 days to work surly?

Every office is different up and down the country, some 24 hours are on 3 or 4 or 5 day attendance there is no hard fast rule, what each duty contains is in a duty 318 each 24 hour contract will have one drawn up either for the specific duty or duties they cover, your manager has access to them if they are not readily availible though he may not want you seeing them, get the rep on to it if he won't

if your not happy with the way you or other part timers are being treated get the rep to raise your concerns with the manger and follow through taking it further if problems are not resolved
