uniform tax allowance

the wife & i just got our new tax codes, i get the £120 but in her job its £60
how do they decide on how much, think only the thing she doesn't get is a fleece/jacket and she has to provide own footwear, and due to the nature of her job may even need to change mid-shift
summertime all i need washing is shirts shorts & socks, hers stays the same all year
neither occupation is listed on tax site

1112L and states £120 expenses added, the wife's states £60 expenses

that's 11k + £60 expenses then, i'm getting £120 for some reason, must be extra cleaning for cutting across grass
