Next weeks bulk posting:EU election leaflet

Found out today that next week we are doing a bulk posting to every house which has to be done by Wednesday.
This is extra to the 6 D2D's we have next week.
This bulk posting weighs 80 grams each.
Who agreed to this?
Is it a Cameron's referendum booklet I wonder.
I will be cutting off even more then

I'm strictly for the leave campaign,I wonder if I can opt out of delivering something I am strongly opposed to?

The Sun was 24 pages. This is 14 smaller pages so it should only be about half the weight.

Union should not have agreed anything without listening to the postal workers input on this first. We are not getting extra money for delivering them, this week will be one of the only few weeks where DOMs won't give the Joey's a Tuesday off as they normally do. Is a nationwide campaign really considered a D2D in the traditional sense, don't RM exclude certain government communications from the D2D opt-out for example.? The fact it has to be delivered within 3 days says it's not a normal D2D either. Therefore you could argue a case to be compensated for the added effort it will take. The loops will be heavier and we'll have to walk further as a direct result of this leaflet.

Well if it's going to take you over your duty time you either book overtime or bring work back!

Royal Mail are fully aware that they will have to pay extra to get this delivered, it's your choice if you want to take the money or not.

The agreement also allowed for single day d2d etc, members on here constantly complain about mangers not sticking to agreements but some seem to have short memories on what they themselves as a membership have actually collectively agreed to, and then think that an extra payment is deserved for something they already agreed to not get an extra payment for

We still get a door to door payment we got paid for polling cards which to me is classed a door to door and they were lighter so what's the difference?
