Being shipped out

Been shipped out to another office ("for the foreseeable"). OK so they pay mileage but no consideration given to the extra hour a day travel. Applied for this job 3 years ago because a) It was Local and b) The hours suited me. Neither of which are now true. Pissed off.

You have the right to start and finish at your do at your normal start and finish times, you also have the right to being provided transport to and from the other do either by being driven or being given a van to do it yourself, if you insist on both you will find that dom will probably lose interest fairly quickly in moving you

also do you have business insurance for your car?

Actually, unless its an official transfer then you should report to your own office at your start and finish time. Also, RM should provide transport, or pay for it as your own car won't be covered if you only have Social, Domestic, and Commuting on your insurance, especially as Royal Mail removed their bond on private vehicles.

you will be able to arrive back at your DO for your official finish time if you ask. Many of the reserves who are sent to our office can only take out 3/4 of a walk because they need to start heading back to their office, in a taxi paid for by RM.
