Stage two review

I posted a while ago with regards to a stage 1 review. Further illness has insured with the doctors still investigating but a few points seem a bit strange to me. However I signed the paperwork at the end of the meeting so there's prob not much I can do now.

The first point is that apparently I went 1 day over a 10 day limit. I was only Ill for ten days, the first day was due to my babysitter being ill. Isn't that a family emergency?

The second point is, I had no idea my review was today and my manager apparently had checked to see if I was I Union member. I am but he thought otherwise for some reason and I had no idea I could take a rep (he told me after the meeting)

The third point is I'm not even under contract. I checked it when I got home and it ended on the 8th of Feb.

So do I contest this or just hope I don't get ill again in the next 60 a days?

If I were a rep I would be slightly concerned that you went sick as your babysitter was ill, yes a family emergency, but you went sick, that's a little naughty.

I never went off sick as my babysitter was Ill?! The first day I rung in and said my partner and usual babysitter were both sick and I couldn't find alternative childcare. They said have today off and let us know when your covered. Subsequently, I was hospitalised myself and signed off as the doctor deemed me unable to work. But they have just added the day they told me to have off onto my sick making it go a day over my limit, thus triggering a stage two.

It is, but they may suspect its a false claim. I strongly suggest getting a ADR briefed and ready to assist.
