No - but watch this space - The union is ratcheting this up slowly but surely.

:thumbup ,but sadly I think the I'm alright Jack attitude will prevail and most people will just pretend they haven't seen or heard anything about it,at least at our DO anyway, never met so many spineless people in such a small place.

It could be any of us :( I've not read too much on this but have the union investigated what did happen to the planted mail? Did it even exist or was this a stitch up by the management to get rid of him? Surely the IB were duty bound to try to find the missing item/s when they were not found with David.

It's scary that someone can be sacked without evidence :(

Royal Mail are watching this case carefully, this could shape industrial relations in the company for years to come, a show of weakness now could convince them that the union is finished. If any of my Scotland No 2 colleagues are reading this think long and hard about just what kind of company you want to work for. Look at Sports Direct for clues.

aye, if they beat the union on this one then they could do a ''mike ashley'' and introduce zero hour contracts at their leisure knowing the union are a spent force. and get rid of anyone they wanted to in the same dubious way.
