Getting messed about with Winter leave

Hi all, heres the story;

Owed 2 days winter leave and two extra days for august bank holiday and christmas day (was my day off that week). So total of 4 days i was suppose to have. The week commencing the 14th March i was set to have my 4 days off. The duty i was covering day off was a friday so i was expected to work the monday, have tues,wed and thurs winter leave days, friday normal day off and saturday another winter leave day.

Worked monday and said ill see em next week, got a phone call saying the manager had me in for tuesday, didnt see the message till late monday afternoon by them the place was closed. Rang at 6:30am on the tuesday morning, temp manager said i was on the rota so i had to go in. I went in told him i was suppose to have 4 days off this week, took me upstairs to the pc where he checked the rota. The DOM had changed my day off to the wednesday that week so i had thursday, friday and saturday off as winter leave. I argued my case saying i had 4 days to use that week. Temp manager showed me the sheet, the DOM had me down to be off and use the last day the following week; thursday 24th March so id have thursday, friday, sat and monday off as the duty was running into the long weekend so i said fair enough but he said the dom might want me to work it (i thought to myself i cant with the new rules in about not working holidays now)

Today i go to work and the temp manager said have i seen what im on this week, and goes on to say i dont have the long weekend anymore and i need to go upstairs and see the DOM. He was busy on the phone so i just went down in huff and cracked on with my work. Later on i recieved a phone call from the DOM regarding the long weekend i was off. He said i was still on for that but my winter leave day isnt for the thursday, its for the wednesday now 30th March....

Ok so my winter leave has been split up and taken back etc a few times now, no one elses four days have had this. What im pissed at is the fact that the temp manager said to me the dom might want me to work that thursday and now all of a sudden that thursday has been cancelled (which i was promised the previous week to use this week instead) and its been changed to a further week later.

What can be done i.e greivence etc etc, what would you guys do, would you just let it go and get n with it or would you speak to the union rep about the crap they are pulling? Im not a petty man but i feel like they are taking the piss right out of me cause thats twice theyve changed what was in place and now ive had to make / cancel plans to adjust to their last minute switches.

If you had a print off with booked days like we do then id have taken the time off for sure, sorry guv, ive made plans

They dont give ya print outs, he hadnt updated the sheet downstairs so was working off his pc rota....coincidentally.

You should always get it on a printed sheet so these kind of situations don't happen.not all your fault for being trusting but from my own experience management will when under pressure themselves will take advantage if you don't have anything official in place.i wonder if your office had some people phone in sick.
