I got a letter off the CWU for reps two weeks ago telling me about this payrise. There was a picture off two fellas shaking hands over a table confirming the deal.

Now you are taking the piss. Nothing official has gone out like that and the only official thing about pay was for the Policy Forum that finished 3 hours ago, it had no pretty pictures and the forum was partially to discuss the "pay round" so the CWU have not asked yet and the business has made no offer.

Please go back to the bridge, you'll get more fish there.

Unite/CMA Managers are being balloted for industrial action (short of going on strike I believe) over their pay offer.

I too was at the Policy Forum yesterday/today and can confirm that no formal offer has been made by Royal Mail at this point in time to the CWU in respect to pay. Negotiations have not started on the matter.
