I've seen posties out on bikes in small towns out our way so I assume they are still pre revision. Not seen any recently but i don't often venture out of the deep rurals we're in!

Huddersfield is still only partially P&L - the vast majority of duties are still Pouch despite repeated attempts to fully convert.

Discussed getting a Duty Retested with the Area Rep the other day. Not been tested since the last revision... Simply took the bike off it (which used to be kept in the back of the van) gave him a LWT and said, "Get on with it"!

The Old Duty Holder didn't kick up too much fuss because he was Retiring and simply carried on doing it the old way for a month or so. The Area rep said, "So he had a van for the large parcels and used the bike for the letters"? Asked why they took the bike away...... he could have kept it! Typical take all the bikes away and then tell you , they can still be used if appropriate! FFS

Perhaps that's why we sometimes see Posties still out on bikes? Bring them back before all our Knees & Hips crumble!
