Dash cams,bike cams ect:Updated:Now house/back gate cams

There is a video on the net that came into my news feed of a van of ours,the driver driving like a tosser and in a dangerous way,licence plate on show ect
I'm not going to put it up obviously (and I will delete any posts with it or similar types) but other road users are as it's the in thing now.

Nuff said.

Perhaps it won't be long till RM fit dash cams to all vehicles?

I won't hold my breath.
The van I share doesn't even doors that work properly.
Mind you me and one of the other newbies took it for
What must've been it's first wash in 6 years this week

So at least it doesn't look the fu@king disgrace it used to.

I think I've just watched the video (involving a Vivaro van). My comments are:

1. The RM van is not in the wrong lane. The highway code says it's perfectly acceptable to go straight on at a roundabout in the second/outside lane.

2. The RM van did not appear to cut across into the nearside lane.

3. We only have the other drivers word that the RM van is speeding - there is no indication of either the car or vans speed.

4. I thought it was illegal to photograph RM vehicles and show their reg and location.

And another thing, (yep got another one) when you're at the doorstep look out for cameras on the house front.....and by the back gate......before you drop the packet over said gate.

Also cameras in the doorbells which take a picture when the button is pressed, no problem if you're doing the job properly

Could have sworn a solar powered camera took my mug shot while doing an attendance call recently at someone's home.
