Thank you cards a hit:A simple thank you goes a long way
You told us being recognised for a job well done was important to you. Over Christmas, special Christmas-themed thank you cards were launched.
Many managers across the business ordered the seasonal thank you cards to tell their team their hard work was appreciated.
Abdul Rehman, collections hub manager at Cardiff mail centre, gave distribution driver Khalid Idris, pictured above right, a thank you card for his excellent customer service. A local business customer phoned in to praise Khalid’s for his exceptional helpfulness.
Abdul, pictured above left, said: ‘One of our customers contacted me to say that Khalid could not be more helpful in his approach, always providing requested equipment and generally giving an excellent service. This is really positive as we have seen this company grow over the last two years and volumes are increasing.’
Khalid said he was proud to receive the thank you card: ‘It’s great to know you’re doing a good job and that your manager appreciates it. It’s a small gesture, but it goes a long way,’ he said.
